The low recorders
Veranstaltungsort: Mollenhauer Blockflötenbau | Stadt: 36043 Fulda
In this two-day seminar recorder player and teacher Sarah Jeffery will take you through everything you need to know about the low recorders. The emphasis will be on ensemble playing, learning how to create a beautiful warm sound together with a mixture of the tenor down to the contrabass (and below?) We will cover a wide range of music, from medieval, renaissance and baroque to modern and jazzy. Throughout the weekend there will also be attention for instrumental technique, stretching and the physical aspects of playing a larger instrument.
Level: Intermediate + Requirements: please bring your recorders from tenor and below - the larger the better!
The language of the workshop will be English.
